About

The short version

I’m Ian — a self-taught builder who learned to code by building things I wanted to use. No CS degree, no bootcamp. Just curiosity, documentation, and a lot of broken builds along the way.

What I’m working on

Right now I’m split between two projects: AssetAlley, a Solana-powered marketplace where creators get paid instantly in USDC; and ACORN, an AI driving model that makes Assetto Corsa’s AI race like humans instead of robots.

Why I build in public

Every project gets written about. Partly to document the journey, partly because explaining what you built forces you to understand it. The blog is where the thinking happens.

Off the clock

When I’m not at the keyboard, I’m probably sim racing, reading about crypto markets, or building yet another small tool to scratch an itch I probably should’ve just ignored.
